Freedom on the water, regardless of ability – For EVERYONE

Set sail on the beautiful Sydney Harbour and experience the joy, adventure, and camaraderie that comes with every breeze and tack. At Sailability Rushcutters Bay (SRB), we make sailing accessible to people of all abilities, offering social sails, group outings, and friendly races – all run by our dedicated volunteer crew.

Whether you want to learn, race, or simply enjoy the feeling of wind and water, you’ll find a welcoming community that celebrates confidence, connection, and independence on the water.

Sailing on one of the world’s most iconic harbours – with the Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge, and Taronga Zoo as our backdrop – SRB gives adults the chance to trim the sails, take the helm, and chart their own course.

Part of Sailability NSW and the global Sailability network, SRB is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to making sailing accessible to all. Whether you’re hoisting a mainsail for the first time, joining a crew for a harbour race, or simply soaking in the serenity of the harbour, we’ll help you find your sea legs and your sailing spirit.

Come aboard, catch the breeze, and discover how far the wind can take you.

To join a sail or learn more, email Tricia Rubenstein, we’ll help you get underway.
